I would love to schedule a book signing for my cookbook, “All My Children Gotta Eat”. My cookbook is dedicated in part to “all of my Perryton Kids”. Cannot wait to come to the reunion. I will be coming with 2 of my daughters that are Perryton grads, Crystal Robinson Tolen, and Leslie Robinson Alexiev.

  5. Brenda Carnes Parks 09.08.10

I’m so glad I got to go to the Perryton School Reunion. It was a blast & everyone did a bang up job. Thank you all very much for everything. We got home & in reading through the Reunion Souvenier booklet I was dissappointed that two very special young men in my families lives were not mentioned in their class memorials. Some of you will remember that tragic day but this girl lived it everyday going through school as I still do today. They were Richard Thompson & James McDaniels. They were in a cave inn at Wolf Creek Park. My younger brother Jackie Carnes was the only one that survived. But if you know the class secretaries of these two special brothers. Please lets not forget them as I never will. Oct.8th is imprinted into my brain forever. We love & miss you Richard & James.

Hi, Brenda. We’re glad you came to the reunion. We’re so sorry for your loss; what a horrible tragedy. What would have been Richard and James’ graduating classes? We’ll try to help you find the class secretaries to make sure they’re mentioned in the future.
